Warnings

This medication contains griseofulvin. Do not take Grifulvin V or Gris-PEG Grisovin you are allergic to griseofulvin or any Grisovin contained in this drug.

  • Grisovin 125 mg tablets are a white to off white, scored, uncoated tablet engraved with “G125” on one side, that contains Grisovin mg of griseofulvin. They are available in bottles of 100 tablets.
  • Grisovin Grisovin tablets are a white to off white uncoated tablet engraved with “G500” on one side, that contains 500 mg of griseofulvin. They are available in blister packs of 28 tablets.

Warnings for people with certain health conditions

Storage

  • For children who weigh 30–50 lbs: 125–250 mg per day
  • For children who weigh more than 50 lbs: 250–500 mg per day
  • Length of treatment: 2 weeks to more Grisovin 6 months. The length of your child’s treatment depends on how severe the infection is and where it’s located.
